Replacement Fence
Our fence has been looking sad for a while now, however in the last couple of days we’ve got it replaced thanks to a generous grant from the Marillier Trust.
The grant has enabled us to replace the front fence to the left of the gate

Rememberance Sunday 2014
We had a good turn out at Southwick’s at of Remembrance on Sunday 9th November.

Crack Shots – Cubs District Shooting Competition October 2014
Our Cubs entered 2 teams in the annual District air rifle shooting competition this year. With no practice our Cubs had a great result coming 3rd and 5th in the team event and well Done to Dylan who came 3rd in the individuals.

Air Activities – Come fly with me – September 2014
On the 27th September Akela drove a minibus filled with 11 cubs ( and some leaders!) to visit Gatwick Aviation Museum, This year the Cubs have been working towards their Air Activities badge and needed to visit a museum and learn more about planes. Road Safety – Ask a Policeman – September 2014
With the dark nights and winter coming the cubs had great fun learning about Road safety and were able to ask a Cub parent all about his job in Sussex Police. Box Cart Racing Summer 2014
Watch Out Lewis Hamilton! All the Cubs had great fun box cart racing in the Summer. In the Autumn we are building 2 new carts for our DIY badge, the arrival of the Southwick Slayer and the Southwick Speeder is imminent – watch this space for further news!
St. Georges Day Parade 2014
A good turn out for St.Georges Day Parade, and the weather was unusually dry!
Shoreham Fort Visit May 2014
The whole cub pack had a great evening at Shoreham Fort , learning about how the garrison ran the fort, how it was designed to be used and practicing some of the drills for their local knowledge badge. Many Thanks to all the volunteers at Shoreham Fort.
