Watch Out Lewis Hamilton! All the Cubs had great fun box cart racing in the Summer. In the Autumn we are building 2 new carts for our DIY badge, the arrival of the Southwick Slayer and the Southwick Speeder is imminent – watch this space for further news!

A good turn out for St.Georges Day Parade, and the weather was unusually dry!

The whole cub pack had a great evening at Shoreham Fort , learning about how the garrison ran the fort, how it was designed to be used and practicing some of the drills for their local knowledge badge. Many Thanks to all the volunteers at Shoreham Fort.

We managed to finally set Phil’s Bench in place on Sunday, placed in front of his tree, so in year’s to come, future Scouts will have a place to practice their knots in the shade of a flowering cherry. The plaque says…
