We have been in Upper Kingston Lane using Comber Hall since April 1973 when the hall was opened by the County Commissioner at the time, Charles Mason.
The hall started its life on an industrial site in Crawley and was used as a storage area for cork and cork based products. It was spotted by one of our leaders and after a lot of negotiations, fund raising and a massive effort by all concerned, the hall opened.
Since then we have continued to offer the Scouting experience to the local community. We are now beginning to receive the next generation of young people whose parents were originally part of the group in the early days.
If you have any old photographs of the Group activities in your archives or have a story to tell please make contact with us using the e-mail on the contacts page.
